Help Our Kids

Become A Mentor

If you would like to help a boy or girl through that difficult transition from child to adult, but are unable to bring them into your home, consider becoming a Life Coach Mentor. Our mentoring program is based on the simple premise that each child we serve should be regarded as our own. We believe we should do all we can to help them succeed in spite of their past actions. Mentors work with our youth while they are in placment and as they journey back into the community, helping them succeed in school, learn work skills, obtain employment, go to college and contribute to their communities.

The mentoring program has been developed and is supervised by our Pastoral Services department. For the safety of the youth, individuals desiring to become mentors must successfully complete a background check as prescribed by the Michigan Department of Human Services and attend Holy Cross Children Services Mentor trainings. If you would like more information about this opportunity, please contact Pastoral Services at 517-423-7667 or values@hccsnet.org.
