Salvatore B. Simone (Chairperson)
Mr. Simone is the President of Simone Contracting Corporation located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He has been a board member since 2003, serving on the Development and Executive committees.
Tim Patton (Vice-Chairperson, Chairperson of Investment Committee)
Ann Arbor businessman Tim Patton is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is chairman of Patton Holdings based in Ann Arbor Township, a company with controlling interests in Jordan Reses Supply Co.; Sleep Well Centers; Shamrock Respiratory Services; and a new startup, Flagship Private Air, in Ann Arbor. He is active on several community boards and is a founder of the Ann Arbor chapter of Legatus International, an organization of Catholic business executives.
Gerard Teagan (Treasurer, Chairperson of Finance Committee)
Mr. Teagan of the Detroit Free Press, has served as a board member since 2007. He has served on various committees including Finance and Investment.
Rodney Mersino (Secretary)
Mr. Mersino of Davison, Michigan is the President of Mersino Dewatering Inc. He joined the board in 2003 and has served on the Development Committee.

Benjamin Lee Anderson (Chairperson of Quality Assurance Committee)
Human Resources Manager Benjamin Anderson has been a member of the Board since 2000. He serves on the Executive and Quality Assurance committees.
Auday Arabo
Mr. Arabo is the president and CEO of Associated Food and Petroeum Dealers which represents over 3000 small businesses. He is an attorney with several years of senior-level experience in executive decision-making, policy direction, strategic business planning, and business growth and development. He joined the board in 2011.
William P. Bolton (Immediate Past Chairperson)
William Bolton is the president and founder of Bolton Conductive Systems based in Walled Lake. BCS designs and manufactures wire harnesses, panels, and electrical products for the U.S. military and specialty vehicle markets. Bolton earned his bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and an MBA from the University of Detroit. He is active on several boards and is past president of the Detroit chapter of Legatus.
Brother Francis Boylan, C.S.C. (Executive Director)
Br. Francis has served as Executive Director/President of Holy Cross Children's Services for more than 40 years. He is a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross, holds a Bachelors of Science from St. Edward's University and a Masters of Social Work from University of Michigan. He holds a Clinical and Macro license through the State of Michigan Department of Community Health Board of Social Work. Br. Francis is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Legatus(national organization of Catholic executives) and the Equestrian Order of Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. He has received many awards over the years in response to his efforts on behalf of children and families.
Geraldine Carroll
Born in St. Petersburg, Fla., Geraldine “Gerry” Carroll attended St. Ann School and the Beaumont School for Girls in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Rosemont College in Rosemont, Pa. A resident of Birmingham, Carroll has managed investment properties for 15 years. She is an active member of St. Hugo of the Hills parish and school in Bloomfield Hills where she serves on the Altar Guild and has also served on the boards at Marian High School, Brother Rice High School, Rosemont College and the Christ Child Society.
Brother Chester Freel, C.S.C.
As the Provincial Superior for the Brothers of Holy Cross Midwest Province, Brother Chester Freel, CSC, is directly responsible for all of the order’s members in the province and all of the Holy Cross houses and ministries. He also oversees Holy Cross operations in Ghana, West Africa. Based at Holy Cross College at Notre Dame, Ind., Brother Freel earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, and a master’s degree in social work from Wayne State University.
John Lynch
Mr. Lynch is
the owner and CEO of JML Products Group in Warren, Michigan and provides business consulting services through JKL Consulting, LLC. He also serves on the board of Global Products Marketing, LLC, a company that specializes in securing Chinese investors for US based companies and with expanding their business to China. He joines the board in 2011.
Michael J. Malinowski
Michael Malinowski of Dearborn Heights recently joined the board. He also serves as the State Deputy of the Michigan State Council of the Knights of Columbus.
Robert J. Pliska
The owner and managing director of Sperry Van Ness Investment and Commercial Real Estate In Birmingham, Robert Pliska has more than 35 years experience in all facets of commercial real estate. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Detroit and an MBA from Michigan State University. A CPA, Pliska is active in numerous professional real estate groups and is a past president of the Detroit Area Commercial Realtors.
Gregory S. Richmond
Mr. Richmond is the founder and president/CEO of RGS Limited, LLC. where he is focused on developing insurance products to assist financial institutions with the risk management of their credit card divisions. He also serves on the Risk Counsel of Electronic Transaction Association which represents over 500 companies who offer electronic transaction processing products and services. He joined the board in 2011.
Albert Schaller
Mr. Schaller, the Chairman of the Board of Schaller Corporation in Chesterfield, Michigan. He joined the board in 2007 and serves on the Development Committee
Debra Van Elslander
A member of Michigan’s philanthropic Van Elslander family, Grosse Pointe Shores resident Debra Van Elslander is active on several community boards and foundations including the St. John Health Foundation, the Parade Co., the St. John Hospital and Medical Center Fontbonne Auxiliary, and the Champions for Life committee at the Van Elslander Cancer Center. Her father, Art Van Elslander, is the founder of Art Van Furniture, Michigan’s largest furniture retailer.
Raymond J. Weingartz (Chairperson of Development Committee)
The retired owner of Weingartz Supply, Ray Weingartz was born in Warren, the oldest of seven children. He worked in his family’s business all his life and became owner in 1976 after the death of his father. Weingartz now operates five retail stores in Michigan selling and servicing outdoor power equipment. The company also owns a wholesale distributorship, Power Equipment Distributors. Weingartz is a member of numerous boards and is a past president of the Michigan Equipment Dealers Association.
