Holy Cross Children's Services offers a Day Treatment option for providing services to youth who do not require out-of-home placement.
Wayne County Day Treatment
The Wayne County Day Treatment program is a community-based intensive day treatment and family intervention program designed to prevent out-of-home placements of delinquent male and female youth aged 12-18 who have been appropriately assessed and referred by the Wayne County CMO's. The Day Treatment program will serve approximately 30 youth and will consist of intensive family work, group work, ancillary, recreational and educational services. Each of these components is an integral part of the overall treatment process, which is designed to maintain the young person within his/her home and to provide support and services to the family.
Program staff transport youth to and from Holy Cross Center where they receive program services including assessment and case planning, on-site education, group therapy, family therapy, recreation, community service activities and life skills education.
